Inventor Outlines |
Inventor is a program dedicated to sketch, model and outline projects. From there you can design and shape a custom image/item. I started by making the face of the widget on the base of the virtual template.
From there I extruded the base and removed the excess materials for the proper shape. I imported the shape as a STL file and loaded it in the Maker bot software. After the program initialized the scales for the object needed to be altered to the recommended size of 1 inch. When it was finally corrected and aligned the file was saved and transferred to a USB drive. I then took the drive and inserted it into the printer and selected the file. On the display the set-up was calculating the time to completely print in 35 minutes. By the time it was finished the object had cooled off and was completely solid figure. |
